在紐約車展公布的2017世界之車大獎，
英國的Jaguar F-Pace奪得大獎，
成為英國車自從2003年久違了的驚喜。

是次汽車選舉由75位來自世界各地的傳媒選出，除了World Car of the Year，尚有5大不同的功能組別，包括World Performance Car of the Year, World Luxury Car of the Year, World Urban Car of the Year, World Green Car of the Year ，及World Car Design of the Year。

值得留意的是，入圍World Car of the Year的三款車，包括Jaguar F-Pace，Audi Q5及VW Tiguan，都是SUV，反映了SUV市場越來越備受消費者歡迎。

World Car of the Year：
- Jaguar F-Pace

作為Jaguar史上首架SUV，獲得此項大獎之外，同時也羸得World Car Design of the Year兩個獎項，對英國汽車設計界可說是最大的鼓舞。

World Performance Car of the Year 2017：
- Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman

雖然911沒有入圍，但小兄弟 718 Cayman成為大羸家，壓倒Audi R8 Spyder及McLaren 570S兩大強勁對手。

World Luxury Car of the Year 2017：
- Mercedes E-Class

豪華房車一直是競爭激烈的市場，E-Class力壓BMW 5 Series及Volvo S90，成為這級別的冠軍，靠的就是硬實力。

World Urban Car of the Year：
- BMW i3

雖然i3已非新車型，但依然力壓Citroen C3及Suzuki Ignis，成為城市之車冠軍。

World Green Car of the Year：
- Toyota Prius Prime

撼低Chevrolet Bolt及Tesla Model X，Toyota Prius Prime真是一點都不簡單。

World Car Design of the Year：
- Jaguar F-Pace

能夠力壓轎車設計的Mercedes S-Class並不稀奇，F-Pace能夠撼低備受注目的Toyota C-HR，那就真的是贏得不容易。
